The M600 expands Rekkord's portfolio of manual turntables with an audiophile top model. The turntable is built into a noble and at the same time massive wooden chassis, which is extra sturdy. The turntable is equipped with an 8.6" aluminum tonearm specially developed for this model. The height-adjustable arm has a 4-piece ball-bearing gimbal made from solid aluminum blocks and a carbon tonearm head particularly resistant to twisting. The aluminum sandwich platter is weighted with damping rings made of copper to increase weight and thus ensure the most accurate and stable rotations. Additionally, there is a special damping compound inside the platter to minimize resonances.
This M600 model is available without the Ortofon Quintet Red cartridge. Cables, cover, and adapter are supplied together with the turntable.
