Why grounding?

Every Hi-Fi system is powered in some way, meaning it carries polluted current from the network. Pollution can enter the network "through the air," such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals. Nowadays, the number of these devices is constantly increasing. This disruptive signal comes in the form of high frequencies, noise, and magnetic fields. The disruptive effect is much more audible than most people think. Improper grounding reduces the potential and performance of the entire system. Unfortunately, most people do not have access to grounded power, which is why Nordost came up with a solution called QKORE.

"The Nordost QKore 6 grounding unit is another proof that it is worth paying attention to problems you wouldn't even think of considering until you try a device that eliminates them. Due to its decidedly unshy price, it is certainly not a solution for every setup (although its impact was noticeable even on a setup worth around 50,000 CZK), but if you have a refined system worth, say, half a million or more and don't know how to move it forward, the QKore 6 can be a suitable and undoubtedly effective solution, just as when building a system where you want to thoroughly address every detail. In any case, the QKore 6 pushed each of the tested setups forward - better-focused details, more transparent, calmer sound, better intelligibility at lower volumes, a sense of richer reproduction, music that suddenly breathes more fully, and a more intense experience in general were always and everywhere noticeable. It's a pity that the QKore 6 is so expensive because otherwise, it would be one of the few truly universally recommendable solutions for every single reproduction system - as it is, however, it is a cherry on top for top-notch setups."
