Product detailed description

The highest model of the new Q series from the English manufacturer KEF boasts exceptional parameters and performance. This series was developed to meet the demands of today's times, emphasizing simplicity, purity, and maximum effect. The speaker is equipped with KEF's typical Uni-Q driver, which was until recently the privilege of the more expensive R series and other higher models. The cabinet of the speakers has also been redesigned, made from MDF boards and internally divided into three interconnected chambers. In the upper part, we find the aforementioned Uni-Q driver set in a 20 cm midrange membrane. Behind the driver, there is a tube that is heavily damped and dissipates energy. The three lower drivers, each 20 cm in size, are divided into two passive and one active. The active driver is located in the middle, and the passive ones serve as a bass reflex. Thanks to the passive speakers, the KEF Q950 can be placed close to a wall or furniture. The size of the speakers is an impressive 106.2 x 24.4 x 32.8 cm, and it should be noted that with the addition of spikes, the height increases by 6 cm.
