Musical Fidelity, the manufacturer of legendary amplifiers, phono preamplifiers, and D/A converters, introduces a new range of multichannel amplifiers. The idea was brought to the manufacturer by the customers themselves, who demanded the quality and performance of Musical Fidelity amplifiers for multichannel installations in one chassis.
Sound is an integral part of the movie-watching experience, and therefore all new multichannel amplifiers feature audiophile-grade power supplies, quiet operation, and extreme performance. 

The M6x 250.7 model offers one pair of gold-plated RCA (input/output) and one balanced XLR input per channel. If the preamplifier has XLR outputs, we always recommend using balanced connections, which lead to increased dynamics, less noise, and improved signal-to-noise ratio. If you need the same signal on multiple inputs, for example for bi-amping, you can use the gold-plated RCA outputs to distribute the signal to another input. Gold-plated and isolated speaker terminals allow for the connection of 4 mm banana plugs, spades, or bare wire. Trigger IN/OUT allows the device to be turned on/off via other components.

The Musical Fidelity multichannel amplifier is constructed with one 250W class A/B amplifier per channel. The amplifier sounds very natural, preserving all transients and details.

A super quiet power transformer distributes clean power to the amplifiers, resulting in a high dynamic range and detailed soundstage. The M6x 250.7 is thus able to preserve all details and emotions, regardless of volume.

Thanks to the sophisticated heatsink design, the M6x 250.7 amplifier does not need a fan for cooling. Despite its high power, you will never hear any fan noise coming from the amplifier.
