Manual turntables can also be divided into the Plug&Play subcategory, which allows for easy setup even for less experienced users while still utilizing the full potential of manual turntables. Manual turntables are also often offered without a cartridge, allowing the user to choose, for example, the type of MM/MC cartridge. A complete set of a manual turntable also has the advantage of a pre-mounted MM/MC cartridge, thus eliminating the most challenging part of assembling the turntable.
