The compact and fully equipped Hi-Res audio player will transport you into the world of high-resolution streamed sound. The i2 inherits a wide range of technologies from the Element series, making it one of the top players in its category. The Matrix Audio i2 can be used not only as a standalone streamer, a high-quality headphone amplifier, but also as a precise D/A converter with high flexibility. All this with the possibility of connecting several components, thanks to ample digital inputs (optical, coaxial, USB B, or IIS-LVDS connection). Modern HDMI ARC is also available for maximum stereo sound enhancement from the TV. For playback from portable storage (flash drive, HDD), there is a USB C input. This audio player offers a wide range of connectivity and playback options and is suitable for all users who care about high product quality. 

Simple and reliable control:

Matrix Audio streamers use their own freely downloadable control app (IOS, Google Play) developed with an emphasis on the most efficient and comfortable use for easy selection of the music being played. With the MA player, you can control popular high-resolution music streaming apps (TIDAL, Qobuz, and HIGHRESAUDIO) via smartphones or tablets, listen to internet radio stations (vTuner and Radio Paradise), play your own music files through DLNA/UPnP, and last but not least, use popular connections like AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect. The MA Remote App is regularly updated for the simplest and most user-friendly use. However, if basic functions are sufficient for you, you can use the supplied elegant aluminum remote control.   

State-of-the-art technology used 

The modern ES9038Q2M D/A converter takes care of the digital signal transmission, allowing the highest PCM (up to 352.8kHz, 384kHz MQA) and DSD (up to 22.4MHz) data to be produced in top quality. When processing digital sound, it is important to reduce jitter as efficiently as possible, thanks to the Crystek CCHD-950 chip (this hardware part is tested and taken from higher models in the Element series), which allows the i2 to offer realistically accurate sound full of dynamics and space. The smooth operation of the entire unit is ensured by the fast NXP i.MX 6Quad Cortex-A9 processor.

Clear touch display

The new generation Matrix Audio music streamer features a clear 3.46-inch touch LCD display, allowing you to view all information about the currently playing track and adjust settings according to your preferences.
It integrates a premium fully balanced headphone amplifier for demanding users, requiring low distortion and minimal noise. The front panel is equipped with a control potentiometer for volume adjustment.

Wifi or LAN connection

The Element 2 streamer is equipped not only with gigabit Ethernet but also with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), providing freedom and reliable internet connection with sufficient transfer speed for streaming from music services or your audio files from local storage.
