After years of patient research and development, Musical Fidelity introduces the MX-DAC with DSD support. Thanks to its technical innovation, excellent technical performance, and outstanding build quality, the new MX DAC offers a truly exceptional product in its price category. The MX-DAC features ultra-low distortion, very wide bandwidth, and low noise. All key parameters are nearly perfect (Jitter +- 12 pps, S/N ratio -116dB, linearity +0.2dB at -116dB, stereo separation -104dB at 1kHz, distortion 0.00025% at 1kHz and 0.0003% at 20kHz). These technical specifications show that the implementation is nearly perfect to ensure completely neutral and accurate digital-to-analog conversion of any digital input. Connectivity flexibility is also ensured with 5 digital inputs in the form of two coaxial (up to 24-bit 192 kHz PCM), two optical (up to 24-bit 192 kHz PCM), and last but not least, asynchronous USB (24-bit 192 kHz PCM and also DSD 64 and DSD 128) with the ability to connect the latest streamers or PCs. On the output, besides standard RCA, there are also balanced XLR analog outputs for connection to high-end setups.
