Compact two-way speakers are the smallest speakers in the Special Production series. The SP version, which is based on the award-winning models, adds unique technology from the higher prestigious F700 series. The bookshelf two-way model of the F500 SP series benefits from the premium IsoFlare concentric driver and the 150mm mid-bass driver from the F700 series. It also utilizes the crossover and massive base from the higher F700 series. The F501SP features a unique bottom bass-reflex port ending in a rigid base that includes a conical diffuser emitting low-frequency waves at a 360° angle, known as BassTrax (BassTraxTM Tractrix system). The incorporated rounding of the front and rear cabinet walls helps eliminate standing waves in the enclosure. The rear panel of the speaker is equipped with Bi-wire speaker connectors with the added option of grounding the chassis.
