Subwoofer's
Subwoofer cables are manufactured with multiple termination options. The most common type is the so-called mono subwoofer cable, suitable for both home theaters and stereo systems. Another used variant is the Y version, with a mono RCA on one end (leading from the amplifier or AV receiver) and a stereo RCA on the other end leading to the subwoofer input. To a lesser extent, the cable ends in a stereo-stereo variant for more sophisticated connections. Subwoofer cable terminations are made in RCA and XLR. The XLR version is more commonly used for longer distances, but it is necessary to verify the presence of an XLR input on both the amplifier and the subwoofer sides.
