REKKORD F400 is a fully automatic sub-chassis turntable that is not only excellent in terms of sound but also beautiful in terms of design. The entire automatic system, as well as the tonearm and damped aluminum platter, are placed on a floating sub-chassis platform that is separated from the rest of the chassis. The automatic system is adjusted and fine-tuned by experienced technicians in the German factory and is based on a highly complex mechanism that has been continuously developed for decades.
The pre-installed Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on the tonearm head, which is reinforced with carbon fibers. The 2M Red is a universal cartridge that provides an open and dynamic sound with a slight warm touch. The construction is made of MDF and is available in 4 different finishes: satin black, high gloss black, and cherry or macassar veneer. Cables, a dust cover, and other necessary accessories are included in the package.
